What this study is about
Researchers are testing whether sleep apnea, especially when combined with COPD (Overlap Syndrome), increases cognitive problems in elderly veterans. The trial will also investigate if treating sleep apnea with positive airway pressure devices improves cognitive function and quality of life compared to not treating it.
Simplified from trial records by PatientMatch.
