What this study is about

This trial is testing whether a modified conditioning regimen, using radiation and chemotherapy, can reduce treatment-related mortality (TRM) in adults undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) for certain blood cancers. This approach involves two steps: first, lower-intensity treatments are given before the transplant, followed by HSCT to cure the cancer.

Simplified from trial records by PatientMatch.
