What this study is about

This trial is testing a new way to detect cortical spreading depolarization (CSD) after traumatic brain injury. A depth electrode will be placed during standard surgery, and recordings will be analyzed by a neurosurgeon to understand the relationship between CSD and imaging findings. This could help improve diagnosis and treatment of secondary brain injury.

Simplified from trial records by PatientMatch.
