What this study is about

Researchers are testing whether making access to a smartphone app contingent on showing proof of smoking abstinence increases people's chances of quitting. The trial will explore how well the app works and if it's acceptable to use, with feedback from small groups and then in real-world settings. It will also compare two different ways of using the app: one where access is contingent on abstinence (AC Re-Connect) and another where access is contingent on submitting information about smoking (SC Re-Connect).

Simplified from trial records by PatientMatch.
