What this study is about
Researchers are testing if lung volume affects how well your throat opens during a drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE). Participants will have a DISE performed as part of their routine surgical evaluation for OSA. The trial will involve using a ventilator to change lung volumes or stimulating the phrenic nerve to improve lung function and see if it helps with throat collapse.
