What this study is about

This trial is testing if a new way of providing maternity care, called Melanated Group Midwifery Care (MGMC), can improve trust and engagement among Black birthing people. It involves receiving prenatal care from a Black midwife in groups with other Black women throughout pregnancy, along with support from a proactive care coordinator and postpartum doula for the first year after giving birth.
