What this study is about
This trial is testing whether statins can help people with clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance (CCUS) and lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). The goal is to see if taking a statin at the time of diagnosis will reduce inflammation and slow down the progression of these conditions.
