What this study is about

Researchers are testing whether abdominal functional electrical stimulation (FES) can improve bowel management time and quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries. The trial will also evaluate how FES affects participant-reported bowel function, bowel management strategies, bladder symptoms, and unplanned hospital admissions. Participants will share their experiences with the stimulation sessions.
