What this study is about

Researchers are testing whether a Quadratus lumborum (QL) block or local anesthetic infiltration provides better pain relief after surgery to correct cleft palate. The trial will involve adults and children undergoing palatoplasty with bone harvesting, and it will last 765 days. Researchers will compare the two methods of anesthesia in terms of post-operative pain, medication use, and any complications.
