What this study is about

This trial is testing an app designed to help keep teens and young adults with suicidal thoughts safe. The app includes a safety plan created by adolescents and healthcare providers, along with videos promoting supportive communication skills. Researchers will compare the use of this app to usual care, assessing how it affects youth's coping strategies for suicide, parent's ability to prevent suicide, and healthcare providers' confidence in managing suicide cases.
