What this study is about

Researchers are testing whether electronic cigarettes (EC) and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) help people quit smoking. The trial will involve up to 60 smokers with obesity who are randomly assigned to use EC, NRT, or no product for eight weeks. Researchers will track how well these methods work at helping people quit smoking, as well as their effects on weight, health markers, and adherence.
