What this study is about

This trial is testing whether a new perioperative anticoagulant management approach (PAUSE) is as safe as the current standard of care (ASRA) when used with DOACs in patients at high risk of bleeding who need surgery or invasive procedures. The goal is to show that PAUSE management will not increase the risk of major bleeding compared to ASRA management, while ensuring low DOAC levels before surgery.
