What this study is about

This trial is testing if a numbing medicine injected around the cervix during vaginal hysterectomy with prolapse repair helps reduce opioid use after surgery. Researchers will compare people who receive this injection to those who get a saltwater placebo, looking at their pain medication needs and scores over several days following the procedure.

Simplified from trial records by PatientMatch.
